I have always had a love of dolls and of fantasy art. So for me, creating fashion doll makeovers is a great combination of two loves and a way to express myself creatively. My work in the realm of fashion doll makeovers includes all types of dolls and styles. I am always exploring new techniques and planning new characters - it is the joy of the craft!

During the past year, I enjoyed the opportunity to meet with many other doll makeover artists at the 2005 IFDC (International Fashion Doll Convention). I can't say enough to express what a kind and supportive group this craft attracts and what a great time was had by all!

To make things even better, my Flamenco Dancer entry won a First Place ribbon in the category of 16" and larger International Dolls and my Tahitian dancer won a Second Place ribbon in the 12" and under International Dolls category. See them in the Fashion Dolls gallery here.

I now also have several articles published for Doll Reader Magazine, available in most places magazines are sold."Male Makeover Tips from Virginia Obeius" in the Dec/Jan 2005 issue and "Male Makeover Tips from Virginia Obeius Part II: Hair Club For Men" in the Feb/March 2006 issue.
